Gift show super find

Blue disks necklace

Disk charm bracelet

Multi Strand disks necklace

Grey and white disk necklace
The NY International Gift Fair was this week and let me tell you, it is a totally overwhelming and daunting experience. It is easy to feel like you are missing a lot of good stuff, if something doesn’t catch your eye you just keep on truckin’ through the booths. Well, these pieces which I found at the Yvette Fry Inc. booth grabbed hold of my eyeballs and wouldn’t let me pass by! The maker of these super cool pieces of jewelry is GS Lillian, and let me tell you, they are even better and more eye popping in person. Total statement pieces. Very much recommended.

Lovely enamel jewels

Boring days at work call for a lot of scouring the internet for groovy goods worth posting here. Anyone who has looked at this site before knows that I am a sucker for enamel jewelry, so here’s some more enameled awesomeness from Etsy seller Smashing.
From the top: Currency bracelet, Mars cufflinks, and Teeming necklace.

A crafty and cool pin for a fall jacket

Crochet pin
yellow crochet pin
blue crochet pin
Here in NYC light jacket weather is just about upon us…these pins from the Rivulette shop on Etsy.com would look really groovy on a little denim jacket. At $15 a pop I think I’m going to need one in each color! Tres chic!

Melissa Joy Manning is a goddess

Melissa Joy Manning Cavancite Earrings
Melissa Joy Manning Tourmaline Slice Ring
Melissa Joy Manning Agate Slice Ring
Melissa Joy Manning Azurite Necklace
I mean seriously, can words even describe the incredible beauty of these pieces that she designed? My absolute favorite in person besides the obvious blue stuff which is so gorgeous it goes without saying, were the pieces of agate she had set into very simple settings. Wow. Drool!

yellow appetime
I have one of these super cool rubber/plastic watches from Appetime and it is really a looker! This has got to be one of the most unusual pieces that I own and is great to wear on a day that your mood needs a lift. They are available from Zappos.com but I must admit I found mine at the Nordstrom Rack…shhh…

Seaglass has never looked so nice

seaglass ring
Wow was all I could say when I found these rings from Emily Amey at the GenArt shopping event this past week. I love the simplicity of the styling of this ring, and the way the seaglass keeps it’s organic shape. They are truly even better in person too.
